The Lux vacuum cleaner, is the first full-function vacuum cleaner incorporated into a modern goods car for all HO and N gauge track systems.
It was developed especially for the removal of dust and loose dirt particles at or near the track! Experience shows that this dust and dirt, carried in to the layout room (through heating systems, bench work, scenery work etc.) will damage toadies precision gearboxes, axle bearings and plays a pivotal role in poor track to wheel contact. This mobile vacuum cleaner is indispensable in hard to reach areas such as tunnels, hidden stations or layouts equipped with a catenary system! The trapped dirt particles are easily emptied by pulling off the collecting container. By adding a decoder, this unit can also be used in any DCC system.
