The Lux track cleaning car removes the most stuborn dirt off any HO track. Absolut best results are achieved when used together with the Lux vacuum cleaner car!
This is the heart of the track cleaning car. A high speed rotating wheel equipped with either a fiber, felt or abrassive compound.
It can be used equally effective to clean track rails, center rail and catenary wire!
The power is supplied through rails. By installing a decoder of your choice it will be fully DCC compatible! Batteries are installed to ensure cleaning action on dirty track and are recharged when in use!
By turning the cleaning mechanism upside down it can be used to clean catenary wire. The large soft coilspring is used to adjust pressure to the wire.

N-Scale Track Cleaner
The cleaning wheel of the N-scale track cleaner is driven by a high quality, long lasting core-less Faulhaber motor. The cleaning wheel as delivered is made of felt but can be replaced with a wheel made of fiber for more stubborn dirt removal.
The unit features a unique guidance mechanism to ensure that the cleaning wheel follows the rails precisely, even on tight radiuses and complex switch arrangements.
The motor and gearing is totally encapsulated and therefore well protected. The circuit board contains a small NMRA plug for the easy installation of a DCC decoder. The battery pack, mounted underneath the circuit board shown on the left, ensures that the cleaning wheel keeps cleaning even when the unit looses power on dirty sections of track ! The batteries are recharged automatically during normal operation.
