ZIMO starter sets are shipped with the components of your choice. In most cases a starter set contains a command station, a cab, 1 or 2 decoders and possibly a transformer.

To qualify as a starter set and therefore receive the starter set discount, the number of individual items must be within the following range:

1          Command station (any of the 3 above)
0, 1 or 2    Transformer (1 for MX1 & MX1EC, 2 for MX1HS)
1          Cab (tethered or radio)
0 or 1      Radio base module (only required if radio cab is ordered)
0 to 3      Decoders (any type, even mixed)

Accessories (cab cable, connectors...) as well as a complete operating book (for all ZIMO components) are included.

To calculate the price of “your” starter set simply add up the individual prices of the items you want included in the set from our price list and subtract 7.5%.
