MICROSCALE

homehintergrund_400Microscale, a Swiss manufacturer, builds signals of highest quality and precision. They are actually built in Switzerland and each signal is handmade out of brass and absolutely to scale. Each product is thoroughly tested before it leaves the manufacturer.
The quality is of such high standard that these signals can be found in the Miniature Wunderland in Hamburg, Germany but also in the training center of the Swiss Federal Railways in Murten, Switzerland.

Each LED can be actuated individually, which lets you display any signal aspect. All signals come with the necessary resistor and protective diode installed.
The most important part of any signal, besides the basic shape of the signal, is its optics. All signals are made from brass. In 2003, Microscale introduced the HPFO (High Performance Filter Optic) at the Nuremberg Show. In contrast to signals offered by other vendors, Microscale does not use color LED but only white micro LED’s with special color filters. This technique results in a noticeable difference in color fidelity, especially in cases of green and red. This also makes it possible that any color can be reproduced, even purple as used by the BLS. The back side of each signal is carefully masked so that no light shines through the back side, not even at night!

Microscale currently makes signals for Union Pacific and Swiss Railroads in N, Nm, HO, HOm, O and Om scale.

The company can make almost any signal from any Railroad prototype. If you don’t find your signal here, please contact us.
