 General features of current ZIMO loco decoders (MX62x, MX63x, MX64x MX69x...)
       subject to change, software improvements are ongoing

 

  • Address range 1 - 10239 (CV # 1 and CVs # 17, 18),
  • Consist addresses 1 - 127 (CV # 19),
  • 14, 28 or 128 speed steps, alternatively; internally always 252 steps,
  • Noiseless motor control with 16 or 32 kHz ("high frequency"),
  • For special cases also "low frequency" available 30 - 200 Hz (CV # 9),
  • Back-EMF motor control for excellent low speed characteristics, 3-way adjustable (CVs # 10, 56, 58,113),
  • Ideally suitable for core less motors (Faulhaber, Maxxon, ...), emulates DC power, no excessive heat or noise.
  • Automatic adjustment to track voltage or definable voltage reference (CV # 57)
  • Acceleration and deceleration rates programmable as general, temporary or signal controlled,
  • Programmable exponential acceleration and deceleration for smooth behavior (CVs # 121 and      122).
  • Self-adaptive acceleration method to avoid abrupt transition from standstill to running (CV#123)
  • Shunting function, allows to switch off or to reduce the acceleration rates (momentum)
  • And apply half speed by a designated function key (CV # 124),
  • Simple speed table with start voltage, medium speed, high speed (CVs # 2, 6, 5) or ...
